After another successful Four Stampede performance in 2025, Prairie Fire is back by popular request. Prairie Fire will be performing the Stampede Kick-off on July 3rd at Nixx Pub, followed by our big Stampede Party on July 4th evening at Courtyard. Look forward to seeing everyone this year!

After a successful Three Show Stampede performance in 2024, Prairie Fire is back for more. That’s right, Four Shows for Stampede 2025. This year marks Prairie Fire‘s 20th Anniversary and we haven’t aged a bit. Prairie Fire will be performing at the pre-pre-Stampede show on June 7th at Courtyard, pre-Stampede show on June 21st at Nixx Pub, and finishing our tour at Courtyard on July 5th and 12th. Prairie Fire met some amazing people last year, and we are looking forward to meeting old friends and new faces in 2025. Join us at any of our shows and share your love for music / entertainment / beer drinking / dancing / two-stepping / line dancing / did I mention beer drinking?

Prairie Fire is bringing back their original “Stampede Blues” from 2005. We hope people enjoy our dedication to Stampede and the stories that bring people together. Stop by for some boot stompin’ / beer drinking fun.

Thanks to Nicole @ Nixx Pub, and Shay @ Courtyard for having us back for our fall / winter show. Prairie Fire hasn’t played with so much snow fall on this wonderful winter season. The winter blues quickly fell away after the beer and tequila were poured to the rim. Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2025. All the best and a wonderful winter season! PS. Prairie Fire will be officially kicking off the 2024 Calgary Stampede with three shows at Nixx Pub on June 22nd, and Shay’s place (aka The Courtyard) on July 6th and July 13th. Put on your cowboy boots and leather chaps, and head on over for some boot stompin’ good times.

After our Undead tour in 2023, Prairie Fire is pleased to join new faces and new dance steps in 2024. Stop by to see our latest sing-along hit “Hail Damage” with background vocals by ‘yours truly’ Mike “More Cowbell” Jensen. Never in the history of Prairie Fire has the band had so many original songs that you may or may not want to hear. We’ll also be playing your favourite songs this Stampede season. Your favourite Line Dance and Two-Step songs will be ready when you show up.

World non-famous, non-recording artists Prairie Fire will be officially kicking off the 2016 Calgary Stampede with back to back shows at long time Stampede hot-spot, Watchmen’s Pub on 17^th ave!

Fresh off the opening leg of the 2016 “Getting the Band Back Together Tour”, these back to back shows will be the second and third tour stops in Canada after a hugely successful outdoor show in Bowden, AB.  The tour this season features the band’s new non-number 1 chart hit and crowd favourite sing-along, “Rodeo Drinkin’”, as well as feature artists, Art “Rocky” Harpman on blues harmonica, and Nikki Zee performing her new non-hit single.

Wow, what a huge success…  Thanks to the Vanbrewsterginhoven clan for once again hosting Prairie Fire at the annual SNL music festival and country fair on June 4th, 2016.  What a great spot to kick off the Canadian leg of the “Getting the Band Back Together” tour!  The show helped us really get exposure to our local fans and especially traction on the charts with “Rodeo Drinkin”, our new chart non-hit song!!

Prairie Fire is happy to announce the 2016 “Getting the Band Back Together” Tour!  We have dates scheduled across Alberta, so stay tuned for specific dates in your area, and be sure to check the Tour tab for details and tickets!!!

Miranda might be a decent singer, and Blake might be tall, but Prairie Fire is freakin’ huge.* Skip the overpriced Saddledome shows and come on down to Watchman’s Pub July 9^th or July 10^th (or both if you can handle it) and help us show these Nashville prima donna’s how we do it at the Calgary Stampede! Sure, we’ll play some Miranda and Blake tunes (anybody can do that), but we’ll even throw in some Johnny Cash, Jason Aldean, CCR, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks… You name it!
