World non-famous, non-recording artists Prairie Fire will be officially kicking off the 2016 Calgary Stampede with back to back shows at long time Stampede hot-spot, Watchmen’s Pub on 17^th ave!

Fresh off the opening leg of the 2016 “Getting the Band Back Together Tour”, these back to back shows will be the second and third tour stops in Canada after a hugely successful outdoor show in Bowden, AB.  The tour this season features the band’s new non-number 1 chart hit and crowd favourite sing-along, “Rodeo Drinkin’”, as well as eature artists, Art “Rocky” Harpman on blues harmonica, and Nikki Zee performing her new non-hit single.

Wow, what a huge success…  Thanks to the Vanbrewsterginhoven clan for once again hosting Prairie Fire at the annual SNL music festival and country fair on June 4th, 2016.  What a great spot to kick off the Canadian leg of the “Getting the Band Back Together” tour!  The show helped us really get exposure to our local fans and especially traction on the charts with “Rodeo Drinkin”, our new chart non-hit song!!

Miranda might be a decent singer, and Blake might be tall, but Prairie Fire is freakin’ huge.* Skip the overpriced Saddledome shows and come on down to Watchman’s Pub July 9^th or July 10^th (or both if you can handle it) and help us show these Nashville prima donna’s how we do it at the Calgary Stampede! Sure, we’ll play some Miranda and Blake tunes (anybody can do that), but we’ll even throw in some Johnny Cash, Jason Aldean, CCR, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks… You name it!
