About us

Prairie Fire is a Canadian Rock and Country band, formed in Calgary, Alberta in 2004.  We’ll play for any rowdy crowd who likes a cold beer and a good mix of country and rock cover tunes.  We’ll even play the odd original song or two and even guarantee that they don’t suck.

Name
Prairie Fire is tequila and tabasco.  It cures lameness, mostly.  The more you have, the better we sound.

Band History
We’ve been huge in Japan since 2004.  Weddings, rodeo dances, garage parties, bar gigs…  You name it we’ve been there, rocked that.  We’re the biggest* band you’ve ever seen.
