Prairie Fire Live at Watchman's Pub - July 8, 9-16 (11x17)

Bowden, AB show one of the best yet

Wow, what a huge success…  Thanks to the Vanbrewsterginhoven clan for once again hosting Prairie Fire at the annual SNL music festival and country fair on June 4th, 2016.  What a great spot to kick off the Canadian leg of the “Getting the Band Back Together” tour!  The show helped us really get exposure to our local fans and especially traction on the charts with “Rodeo Drinkin”, our new chart non-hit song!!

Stampede is here! Come down to Watchman’s July 9th and 10th

Miranda might be a decent singer, and Blake might be tall, but Prairie Fire is freakin’ huge.* Skip the overpriced Saddledome shows and come on down to Watchman’s Pub July 9th or July 10th (or both if you can handle it) and help us show these Nashville prima donna’s how we do it at the Calgary Stampede! Sure, we’ll play some Miranda and Blake tunes (anybody can do that), but we’ll even throw in some Johnny Cash, Jason Aldean, CCR, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks… You name it!

Oh, and maybe most importantly, our show is free… **

Extremely tall guitar man Peter “Pedro” Robar was excited to make the announcement today, “I’m really tall, so I like the big stage of course.  Actually, I think we’re going to apply to Guinness and see if we’re actually the biggest band on record, at least by total combined height, or total mass of the group…  anyhoo…  why I am I getting interviewed?”
Tickets can be bought at the door or online, or at a special discount from your favourite band member.*  Doors open at 8:00pm, so be there early to “get ready” for the band!

Saturday July 5th will be the final tour stop in Calgary in 2014

Prairie Fire announced today that this Saturday’s Calgary Stampede stop at Original Joe’s will be the final stop of the Calgary leg of the “Hail Damage 2014” World Tour.  From here the band heads out on the Foothills Cowboys Association (FCA) rodeo circuit, with a first stop in Castor AB on July 25th.

Mike Jensen, Prairie Fire percussionist, says the band is thankful for the support they’ve received from their Calgary faithful so far.  “You know, to have three stops in one city on the same tour is basically unheard of.  We typically only see that kind of passion in Germany and Japan, so we’re very thankful to our Calgary fans.  Hope to see you all Saturday night.”

The band also announced that famed Blues Harp player Art “Rocky” will be joining them on stage for a special appearance.

See you all there.
