About us

Prairie Fire is a Canadian Rock and Country band, formed in Calgary, Alberta in 2005.  We’ll play for any rowdy crowd who likes a cold beer and a good mix of country and rock cover tunes.  We’ll even play the odd original song or two and even guarantee that they don’t suck.  After three years of Martha’s best performances, we are now a four piece band.  We have Chewie on the harp, lead vocals and rhythm on 3 different guitars.  We have Tiny’s backup vocals, keyboard and sax to return in 2026.  Pedro on lead guitar and sound mix concierge.  And lastly, Mike on drums and your MC for the night.  Looking forward to many of you to join us for the next party / show / tequila / beer.

Prairie Fire is tequila and tabasco.  It cures lameness, mostly.  The more you have, the better we sound.
